Happy Birthday Andrew!

Today is Andrew's 9th birthday. I can't believe how fast time goes. He has been such a joy in our lives. He keeps us on our toes. I love that he is so loving and kind to his sisters. He loves them and watches out for them. He is growing up faster than I would like him too, but love who he is turning into. His birthday, being 3 days after christmas is not so fun sometimes, but he never complains. Who could turn down more gifts? We love you bud.
Christmas blog up date coming soon.

December Craziness

I am so far behind. It has been a crazy few months and I am exhausted and always Nauseas. Yes, I am 12 weeks pregnant. We are so excited and I am so looking forward to when food looks and sounds good again. Being sick through the holidays is frustrating. So many good foods to eat and they look disgusting. I am almost there. This baby is already loved and we look forward at what is to come.
December has been crazy, but so much fun. It started out with my birthday which Jeff always makes great. Morgan then danced in her first Christmas recital. She was so excited. She just bounced all over the stage. I was laughing so hard, I was crying. She was so dang cute. Jeff and I then headed to Las Vegas for a little get away. Him and his two partners took us wifes. It was so fun. We went to the Phantom of the Opera, which was amazing. We then went to Ka, a cirque da ole. It was a great and relaxing weekend. The month has been full of Christmas parties and school activities. I have been learning how to make chocolates from oh so talented mother- in law. They are so yummy. The month is always full of the spirit of Christmas. I love this time of year and the feeling you get. My faith in people on the other hand has been tested. Saturday Jeff got a phone call from one of his partners telling him that there office that they just built had been broken in too. There have been break ins around our town and the police think they are all connected. There office was a mess. All three of their offices were destroyed and we all feel violated. Their safe was destroyed and things taken out. Jeff's monitor was taken. He even went through JEff's scriptures he keeps in his office. Christmas presents were unwrapped and taken. It was a trying and sad day. The police have good leads, so there is hope.
On a good note, we are so blessed and safe. I admire my husband for his patience and strong work. I look forward to Christmas with my family in Island Park. We haope that you all have a great christmas. Merry Christmas from Our house to yours. The pictures below are random pictures of our fun Christmas month. Jeff and I at Ceaser's Palace.

We took the kids to Temple Square. It was cold. but alot of fun

I was a little excited that Jeff got me my Uggs. I love them. Can you tell?

A little behind!

I know that I am so far behind, but we have had a crazy few weeks. We did not have a computer for about 2 weeks. I can't belive how much I miss having the computer when it is broken. It is finally fixed, and now I will try to catch up. We had a great halloween. The weather was perfect, the food was perfect and the company was great. The went trick or treating and came back with bags full of candy. Talk about a sugar high. A few of friends get together every year and eat and have fun. This year, us girls thought it would be fun to dress up. I was the bride of frankenstien ( yes, that is my real hair), Leslie is a witch, and the other Leslie is wonder woman. We had so much fun. The grown boys put on scary masks and tried to scare everyone. They succeeded a few times, it was pretty funny. We are so excited for the holidays. I love this time of year and the spirit that it holds. Jeff and James looking scary!

Pumpkin Patch and a birthday party!

My baby is three years old today. Morgan is growing up way to fast. She has had a birthday weekend filled with the pumpkin patch, the Brick oven and two birthday parties. I have loved her since I found out I was pregnant with her. She has been my little girl. I am so proud of who she is and what she is going to become. She can make me smile on my worst days. I want her to know how much I love her. Hope you have the greatest Happy Birthday!! Morgan only a few hours old.
She has grown into a beautiful young lady.

We had a great weekend and enjoyed spending some family time together. I also wanted to tell my parents how much I love them. My Dad was just called as the Stake President of one of the College Stakes at Byu I. What an amazing example he is and has always been. I can't even tell you how much I love him. Of course next to every great man is a great woman and that would be my Mom. There is no two better people I know and I owe them everything. Good Luck Dad and Mom. I love you both!

Girls Just Want To Have Fun!!!

I was able to spend a weekend with eight of the greatest women. These are girls that I went to high school with 12 years ago. Some of which I have not seen since high school. It was like time had stood still and we picked up from where we left off. I couldn't believe how beautiful of each these girls were. I have to give a thanks out to Leslie, Meredith and Tara for having everyone to Boise. Tara opened her home for all of us. They were ideal hosts, they fed us and entertained us. You girls are the best. I was able to drive to Boise with Molly and Amy. It was the quickest 51/2 hours I have spent driving. It was so fun to catch up with these girls. This whole weekend all began for Molly. She lost her beautiful daughter Lucy, who was 23 months old about 4 months ago. We got together to be with her. When we got to Boise, Janeese, Mandy, Lyndi and the Boise crew where already there. What a reunion. It was a night full of good food and great laughter.

Saturday was filled with a yummy breakfast and some more talking. We decided to hit the town of Boise. We had a good lunch, and walked around Boise. We were able to take some fun pictures. We then headed back to Tara's and we made dinner and sat around and talked. Meredith gave some a pedicure after dinner as we sat around and talked some more. As we sat talking, I looked around at what some of these girls had gone through and loved them even more. Each of us has our own stories and our own trials. With tears in my eyes as I listened to each trial, I was truely humbled.

Molly and her beautiful little girl brought us all together again. She is a very strong women. I am honored that she would share her story with us. My heart aches for her and the times she has ahead. Her story has influenced many people, including me and my family. Thank you girls for an amazing weekend. It is one I will hold close. For those who weren't able to make it, you were missed.

Crazy Weekend!!!

We had such a fun weekend. My sister Lesli, brother Mike, my sister in law and their two kids came down for the weekend. Lesli stayed at Michelle and Cam's, and Mike and Shay stayed at our house. They got here late Friday night, so we talked for a little while and went to bed. Saturday morning, we went to Andrew's football game. He is playing tackle football this year and he loves it. It is so fun to watch and they have an awesome team. So far they are undefeated. After the football game, the boys went to the BYU football game, which was a major blow out! The girls thought we would go shopping. What were we thinking!! We went during nap time and had some serious melt downs, Shay walked out of Gap with clothes in her hand, and Lauren's feet hurt. Lets just say we didn't last real long, but it was so fun.

After the boys got home, we had a babysitter and the grownups went out to dinner. We laughed and ate some good food. After we got back, we bathed the kids and put them to bed. We then made some party mix and played a mean game of hand and foot. Sunday morning we went to my ward and Mike, Lesli and I sang in my sacrament meeting. I love singing with them. It is alot of fun. After sacrament meeting, they headed home. The whole weekend was so fun and I laughed so hard. We missed Dan (Lesli's husband) who had school, and we missed Meg. She had her mother in laws birthday party. I look forward to Christmas when we can all be together. We also really missed my mom and dad. They always are the best to be with. Thanks guys for coming. It really was a great weekend.

Andrew's football game.
Number 53! Go Chiefs!!!!!
Sweet baby Olivia. She really is the best baby.
What can I say about Sage? Dang I love this little girl.
Caden and Morgan are so much fun to watch. I do believe that could be great cousins. They played great all weekend.

My first Triathlon!!!

About 6 months ago I thought it would be neat to so a triathlon. What was I thinking? Our summer has been so crazy and I didn't get to train as well as I would have liked, but that wasn't going to stop me. So Thursday we headed to Rexburg. Poor Lauren ended up getting the flu and threw up twice on the way home. Once we got to Rexburg she seemed to be feeling better, and was back to herself. After we ent to bed, I was awakened at 3:00 am with a very upset stomach and a run to the bathroom. I got her flu. I was supposed to be racing on Saturday and couldn't keep anything down. I tried to take it as easy on Friday as I could. I was so nervous and so nauseas. I got everything together Friday night and then my Dad and Jeff gave me a blessing and sent me to bed. Of course I slept like crap, but ended up feeling pretty okay. We got our shoes set up and then got our bikes to the lake. I put my sweet yellow cap on and got in the water. I ended up enjoying the swim alot more than I thought I would. I got on my bike and was feeling pretty tired. The bike was harder than I expected. The hills were very draining. Not having anything to eat or drink was not doing so well. I made it to the end of the bike and started my last leg of the race. The run was so hard. I was so cooked. Finally I saw the end and just ran. It was the greatest feeling ever to accomplish that. When I saw Jeff right before the end I just started crying. I felt Like I couldn't finish. He is my number one fan and has been at every crazy race I have done. I don't I could finish if it wasn't for him. I also have to add that I have the best family ever. Lesli and Michelle were the best cheerleaders. They even made me a poster. My mom did the sprint and is amazing. She is my hero and the reason I do these crazy things. My dad was there when I got out of the water and I even think I saw a little bit of proudness in his eyes. They are all so supportive. I accomplished this for me, but it feels good to know you have family behind you.

Summer Fun

Our family has been crazy for about the last 2 weeks. Jeff and I both had girls camp and scout camp the same week. I was doing okay with it the week before and then I had a serious breakdown. I am the camp director for our ward. Lets just say that I have a whole new respect for camp directors. I really wanted to make it a good girls camp. I wanted the spiritual and the fun times. As I started packing and getting things together, my sweet husband got the blunt end of my stress. Thank heavens I married a patient man. He was stressed also trying to get ready, but put that aside to help me and tell me it was going to be okay. Our poor kids could feel the strain. My parents were so nice and took our kids for the week we were gone. Jeff left Monday and I left Tuesday. What an amazing time we both ended up having. All the stress was well worth it. Our testimony meeting was one of the greatest I have been too. It is a little bittersweet that it is over. Girls camp has been on my mind for the last 8 months, and now it is over. On the other hand it will be nice to get back to normal. I guess as normal as we can be.

When we got back, some friends invited us to go boating for FHE. My kids were so excited and we had a great time. Andrew, Jeff and I all knee boarded, and tubed. Then Jeff tried wakeboarding and loved it. He did so good. The evening was just what we needed. The kids loved the lake.
Me trying the knee board. Super fun. Even tried a three sixty, but slipped every time!
Lauren rode on Jeff back while he knee boarded. She hated it.
Andrew did awesome on the knee board.
The kids on the tube. They laughed the whole time.
Jeff wakeboarding. The water was super choppy. You would never know it was he first time!

Muttin Bustin Cowgirl!!

Here in Spanish Fork, the 24th of July is big. Good old Fiesta day. We have Rodeos, carnivals and of course the parade. We love the rodeo and try to go every year. This year Lauren decided she wanted to Muttin Bust. We bought her a cute pink cowboy hat, put her in her boots and she was ready to go. We got to the rodeo and she was excited, and then they called her to go get ready. Jeff said when she saw the sheep her heart was beating out of her chest. She got on the sheep and of course was only for about 3 seconds. When she fell off she actually plugged her nose thinking she was falling into water. She did so good and said she wanted to do it again next year. We had a great week. We love fiesta days.

Jeff and I are off to girls camp and scout camp. The kids are getting sent to gramps and grams in Rexburg. They are life savers. Aunt Michelle even volunteered to take them to there. Bless her heart.

Happy 4th !!!!!!!

We had a terrific 4th of July. We headed to Rexburg to spend it with my family. Everyone was able to come, but Meg and Joe. We sure did miss them. We took the kids to the good old Rexburg Parade. We had great seats thanks to Grandpa Cheney. The kids were loaded up with candy and I think Caden was on a sugar high before the parade was even over. After the parade we went back to the house for a good old BBQ. Mike cooked the best stakes, and the food my mom and dad make are always the best. We played human battleship with water balloons and it was a blast. Of course we had to play backyard baseball and it is always a classic. We decided to stay home and do our own fireworks show and it was fantastic. THe boys thought they were twelve again and lit of all sorts of fireworks. Big and Small. It was a great fourth of July.

Saturday we just relaxed. It was heaven. We were able to help my mom make Olivias blanket. It was definetly made with love. The boys went golfing and then we took the kids to Kung Foo Panda. Super cute show. That night we cooked hot dogs and smores over the fire and put the kids to bed early. We got to sit around and play games and eat party mix. It was a great weekend. Thanks mom and dad for letting us come home.

Dam Marathon

This weekend, all of my family came home to run the relay in the dam marathon. We had so much fun. My parents, Lesli, Mike, Michelle and I ran the relay, while Meg ran the half. She did awesome. For those of you who know Rexburg, know Summers hill. That is the dam run I got. It is a straight up hill for about 5.5 miles. I know I can't complain about 5 miles, but let me tell you it was straight up hill. We had a great time and we all ran great. It was fun to do it with my family. My little family was great also. My husband is my biggest support. He thinks I am crazy, but still is there taking pictures and cheering me on. I love them all.

We had a great bbq that night to celebrate father's day. I hope that Jeff and my dad and Father in law had a great day. I love them and am thankful for them all. It was a great weekend.

Happy Birthday Babe!!!!!!!!!

Jeff Surfing!
After the Moab half marathon.
He got to change the first diaper after Morgan was born. What a good Dad.

Jeff is 32 years old today. I will probably be in alot of trouble for telling how old he is, but I love to tease him. He is the greatest Husband and Father. These were only a few of the pictures I have of him. He won't give me the camera. I had to put the one of him surfing because he loved it. I love that he is willing to try anything. Even running a half marathon. I was supposed to run it with him, but ended up getting pregnant. When he crossed the finish line, he said never again. To this day, he says never again. I love him for doing things for or with me even when he has no desire. He is also the greatest father to our three kids. I admire him every day for the kind of man he is. I love you always babe. Hope you have a great day. Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!

It's Seven Peaks Time!!!

Morgan and her friend Tehya.
Lauren and her best friend Avery!
Showing me how well she floats!
Morgan and Aunt Michelle.
I had to put this one on for her dad. Jeff hates it when I let her drink my pepsi.

My kids have been waiting for it to get warm enough for me to take them to seven peaks. Well that day finally arrived. I think I only saw Andrew for about 10 minutes. He was on the slides all day. Lauren wanted to be in the water every minute we were there. She is my fish. Morgan just likes to hang out. As for me, put me in the sun and I am a happy woman. We are excited to go more and enjoy the summer. My sister michelle and her little girl go with us so it makes it really fun. The kids also have their little friends that are there, so they don't drive me crazy all day. I love the summer.
