Morgan Rides a Bike

My little Morgan has been trying to figure out how to ride her bike for about a month now. We put the training wheels on and she kept trying to peddle backwards and would get so frustrated. Well today she jumped on her bike and off she went. She was so proud of herself. When she decides to do something there is no stopping her. She is growing up way too fast.

Memorial Weekend

We had a bittersweet weekend. We were able to be with great friends we haven't gotten together with for a while, I will talk about that in a minute. On Tuesday, I went to the funeral of my friend Molly's beautiful little girl. It was the most humbling experience. As I listened to the words spoken and watched Molly, my heart completely broke. What her and her husband have gone through and will go through is something I cannot even comprehend. I was so impressed with their strength. It will really put things into perspective for you. I wanted to hold my children and never let them go. It still brings tears to my eyes to even consider what they have gone through. The songs were beautiful. They played a lullaby Molly recorded when Lucy was a baby. She sings like an Angel and hope she will keep singing to her. It makes me greatful for the gospel and the knowing she will see that little girl again. I keep a prayer in my heart for her and her husband every day. I hope they find the peace and comfort they need.

It is hard to talk about anything else, but we had a very relaxing weekend, spent with friends and family. All of JEff's friends were in Rexburg, so we got together. We got the kids together at McDonalds on Saturday afternoon and let them play. Then we took the kids to grandparent's house and headed up to a cabin just past Victor. It was raining, but the guys decided to try golfing. Before they went they surprised the wives with massages at the spa. It was just what we all needed. It was great. The guys didn't have the greatest time. They only got about 3 holes into golf and had to call it quits. So we headed back to the cabin which was amazing. It was huge and the view was amzing. Moses (Mark Ball) did his magic on the bbq and it was the best food ever. We had b-day cake for Rod and played some games. We sat around until about 1:00 talking and laughing so hard our guts hurt. We all try to get together once a year, as we are all over. It was a great weekend of catching up, silliness, and just good fun.

Sunday and Monday was spent with family. We had a great dinner and played games. The cousins enjoyed playing. It really was a great weekend and very realxing. In the pictures are Jeff and I, Rhett and Annelise, Rod and Stephanie, Mark and Carrie, Matt and Tasha, Natalie and Tim.

Girls day out!

Lauren and I went and got our toes done this morning, with one of her cute friends. This lady in our stake does the most amazing toes. I had mine done before Hawaii and Lauren just had to have hers done, so I told her when I get back I will take you. She wanted a rainbow, so the lady did the best she could with such little toe nails. Of course I had to have mine redone, so I did Brown and pink. I told Jeff I am going to have these done once a month. I love it.

My friend Molly and her husband lost their sweet little girl this morning. Please keep them n your prayers that they will find the peace and comfort they are looking for.

Lauren's Preschool Program

Well the end of the school year programs are over. Lauren is now so excited for kindergarten, I hope we make it through the summer. Her teacher asked if she could come back next year and be the teacher's aide. I guess she was the one always right there helping clean up and wanted to help set up. Why can't she do that at home? Ha Ha. Her program was great. She is our little singer, and sings all the time. We are still working on the on tune part. She is very animated, and keeps us on her toes. We are super excited for Summer and our days spent at Seven peaks.

Andrew's 2nd grade program

It was Andrew's end of the year program. I can't believe he will be in the 3rd grade. Where does time go? He did such a great job and sang all the songs so well. It was very entertaining. Lauren's program is tomorrow and then as she says, "I will then be a kindergartener." They grow up so fast.

On a sadder note, please keep one of my old high school friends in your prayers. I haven't seen her since high school, but have recently been in touch. Her little 2 year old girl choked on an apple and was life flighted to primary children's. She was deprived of oxygen for 20 min. The doctor's don't have much hope, but Molly and her husband do. Their faith is carrying them through and they deserve that miracle. They love that little girl and are great parents. They are in our thoughts and prayers everyday.

To my awesome mom. I can only hope to be as good as mom as you are. Thanks for your example and love. Sure wish we could be there. Love you lots.

To my mother-in-law. Thanks for raising such a great son. I wouldn't have such a great husband if it wasn't for you. Sure do love you lots.

TO my sisters. Michelle- what an amazing mother yo have become. I am in awe at your patience and love. Not only with your Sage, but with my children as well. Shay- I love watching you with Caden and am so excited for this sweet little girl to get here. Meg and Les- I need more nieces and nephews. Hint Hint. Love you all.

I just have to also wish my pops a Happy birthday. The poor guy has to share his birthday with all these women in his life. Being the greatest man he is, he wouldn't have it any other way. Love you lots dad.

Surfing in Maui

We had the greatest time learning how to surf. The guys that taught us were great. We all were able to get up and for the most part stay up. We had a falls and crashes into each other. It was full of laughter and alot of salt water up the nose. It was my favorite thing we did on Maui. I think I found a new sport. The waves weren't that big, but they were still so fun. Sorry there are so many pictures, but I tried to capture what we did.
