It was our very first pinewood derby. Andrew designed his own car and has been so excited. So on Wed. night we got the car checked in and the weight and wheels checked out okay. He won the first race and the lost the second. All in all it was a fun night and he did super good. He was awarded the sportiest car. He was very proud and so were we.

Lauren is huge into Hannah Montana. Well she saved her money and bought the Hannah Montana Wig. I thought she looked to cute so I had to share. She sings at the top of her lungs and dances around the house. We love to watch her.

About nine months ago, I was running in the river bottoms and came across these kittens. Well to make the story short, we ended up with this cute kitty. He turned out to be a really good cat and is really good with the kids. Well about a week ago, we noticed that Simba was acting really wierd and his tail was swollen and totally looked dead. We took him to the vet and they said he had been in a fight and weren't sure they could save his tail. He ended up staying over night with a 106 fever and a bad infection. They put him under to clean out the infection. He came home the next day with this lovely collar and a shaved butt and tail, with a drain in the wound. We get to clean it and give him antibiotics every day. After a lovely bill, the tail was saved and we figured we must like the cat. Jeff is dying.

Easter weekend at our house was alot of fun. Grandma and Grandpa came down on Friday and the girls went shopping. Saturday morning we took the kids to the Spanish Fork Easter Egg hunt. It was crazy, but alot of fun. The kids had a good time. We came back to the house and had our own easter egg hunt in our backyard. Thanks Grandpa for the money in the eggs! After the hunt we dyed easter eggs. That is always a treat. The kids had fun. Grandpa and grandma had to head back to Rexburg. The kids were sad to see them go. It was fun they came, even for a short stay. Sunday morning the kids woke early of course. They found their baskets and were excited. They all got new flip flops and a movie. The candy of course is always good. It was a fun weekend.

My crazy new adventure

For my "30th" birthday, Jeff gave me a road bike. Something I had talked about wanting for awhile. My new crazy idea is to do a triathlon in August. Jeff thinks I'm crazy, but he is always supportive. I had just gotten back from a 9 mile bike ride and I loved it. I love trying new things and I am excited for my new adventure.

I was tagged to show my purse. This is a little embarrasing because you never know what will be in my purse. So here it goes. Of course my wallet, immunization cards for the girls, calculator, hand warmers from when we went skiing, a couple medicine bottles, grocery list, Morgan's undies ( she is potty trained, but when we go out you never know), lipgloss, and a notebook. That is pretty much it. Not to bad I guess.

I was released from my nursery calling and put in as the bear scout leader. I'm still trying to figure out what I feel about the scout calling. I know it will be great. It will be nice to go back to Sunday School and Relief Society again. Wish me luck with the 9 year old scouts. I may need it.
