For my "30th" birthday, Jeff gave me a road bike. Something I had talked about wanting for awhile. My new crazy idea is to do a triathlon in August. Jeff thinks I'm crazy, but he is always supportive. I had just gotten back from a 9 mile bike ride and I loved it. I love trying new things and I am excited for my new adventure.

Brooke, I hope you had a great birthday. Whit just bought a road bike as well, maybe it's a turning 30 thing :). He really likes it. In fact he likes a little too much, now he wants to go all the time. Good luck with the triathelon. I am thinking of doing a mini triathelon this summer with some friends, but I don't think I could do a full. You are so fit, so I am sure you would do great.
OH I WISH, I WISH, I WISH, I could be there to ride bikes with you!!! You can do a triathlon easily!!

I love that you found my blog. I think it is so fun blog hopping and seeing who you come across. My friend and I have decided we might need a support group for our addiction. But hey its fun! good luck with the bike, especially right now I feel so unfit. So I am jealous. I turned 30 this week too. It is weird isn't it?

Hey Brooke! Happy Late birthday, and Happy Easter! Jimmy and I were both training for a sprint tri here in Tx, but my schooling has gotten in the way. But I just got a road bike this past Nov. for Christmas, and I love it! I'm up to 15 miles, which isn't much but I only get out once a week. Any ways I hope you love it!
