Girls Just Want To Have Fun!!!

I was able to spend a weekend with eight of the greatest women. These are girls that I went to high school with 12 years ago. Some of which I have not seen since high school. It was like time had stood still and we picked up from where we left off. I couldn't believe how beautiful of each these girls were. I have to give a thanks out to Leslie, Meredith and Tara for having everyone to Boise. Tara opened her home for all of us. They were ideal hosts, they fed us and entertained us. You girls are the best. I was able to drive to Boise with Molly and Amy. It was the quickest 51/2 hours I have spent driving. It was so fun to catch up with these girls. This whole weekend all began for Molly. She lost her beautiful daughter Lucy, who was 23 months old about 4 months ago. We got together to be with her. When we got to Boise, Janeese, Mandy, Lyndi and the Boise crew where already there. What a reunion. It was a night full of good food and great laughter.

Saturday was filled with a yummy breakfast and some more talking. We decided to hit the town of Boise. We had a good lunch, and walked around Boise. We were able to take some fun pictures. We then headed back to Tara's and we made dinner and sat around and talked. Meredith gave some a pedicure after dinner as we sat around and talked some more. As we sat talking, I looked around at what some of these girls had gone through and loved them even more. Each of us has our own stories and our own trials. With tears in my eyes as I listened to each trial, I was truely humbled.

Molly and her beautiful little girl brought us all together again. She is a very strong women. I am honored that she would share her story with us. My heart aches for her and the times she has ahead. Her story has influenced many people, including me and my family. Thank you girls for an amazing weekend. It is one I will hold close. For those who weren't able to make it, you were missed.

Brooke!
I know everyone has already said it, but this weekend will live on in my memory forever. So wonderful, so special.

I have many memories of you back in the day... I wish we had more time to visit and reminisce! Time flew, didn't it?

And I agree with the other commentors, your family picture is very cute. What a good looking family you have.

Wow what a fun weekend you all had. It sounded like a blast. I too haven't seen some of those girls since graduation. Wish I lived closer and wasn't ready to pop any day now. It would have been fun to see everyone!

I came across your blog while I was helping Elizabeth with hers. It is fun to see what people in our neighborhood are up to. Do you mind if I add your family to our list?

Brook, it is so strange to see everybody all grown up. I laughed so hard at the pictures on Janese's blog with Mandy laughing. I could totally hear her through the screen.
Looks like you all had a great time.

I didn't leave a comment yet? That's strange. OK, I had so much fun driving with you (and over the weekend). I will never forget Burgers, Etc. What you said to me in the car on the drive to Boise, about how much this has affected your little girl, and how sincere and kind you were...it meant so much to me. You are a wonderful woman. I'm so happy you are my friend.
