We had a bittersweet weekend. We were able to be with great friends we haven't gotten together with for a while, I will talk about that in a minute. On Tuesday, I went to the funeral of my friend Molly's beautiful little girl. It was the most humbling experience. As I listened to the words spoken and watched Molly, my heart completely broke. What her and her husband have gone through and will go through is something I cannot even comprehend. I was so impressed with their strength. It will really put things into perspective for you. I wanted to hold my children and never let them go. It still brings tears to my eyes to even consider what they have gone through. The songs were beautiful. They played a lullaby Molly recorded when Lucy was a baby. She sings like an Angel and hope she will keep singing to her. It makes me greatful for the gospel and the knowing she will see that little girl again. I keep a prayer in my heart for her and her husband every day. I hope they find the peace and comfort they need.
It is hard to talk about anything else, but we had a very relaxing weekend, spent with friends and family. All of JEff's friends were in Rexburg, so we got together. We got the kids together at McDonalds on Saturday afternoon and let them play. Then we took the kids to grandparent's house and headed up to a cabin just past Victor. It was raining, but the guys decided to try golfing. Before they went they surprised the wives with massages at the spa. It was just what we all needed. It was great. The guys didn't have the greatest time. They only got about 3 holes into golf and had to call it quits. So we headed back to the cabin which was amazing. It was huge and the view was amzing. Moses (Mark Ball) did his magic on the bbq and it was the best food ever. We had b-day cake for Rod and played some games. We sat around until about 1:00 talking and laughing so hard our guts hurt. We all try to get together once a year, as we are all over. It was a great weekend of catching up, silliness, and just good fun.
Sunday and Monday was spent with family. We had a great dinner and played games. The cousins enjoyed playing. It really was a great weekend and very realxing. In the pictures are Jeff and I, Rhett and Annelise, Rod and Stephanie, Mark and Carrie, Matt and Tasha, Natalie and Tim.

Lauren's Preschool Program
They are monkey ears in case you are wondering.
Lauren's great teachers, Mrs. Veater and Mrs. Kelly
Well the end of the school year programs are over. Lauren is now so excited for kindergarten, I hope we make it through the summer. Her teacher asked if she could come back next year and be the teacher's aide. I guess she was the one always right there helping clean up and wanted to help set up. Why can't she do that at home? Ha Ha. Her program was great. She is our little singer, and sings all the time. We are still working on the on tune part. She is very animated, and keeps us on her toes. We are super excited for Summer and our days spent at Seven peaks.

Surfing in Maui
We had the greatest time learning how to surf. The guys that taught us were great. We all were able to get up and for the most part stay up. We had a falls and crashes into each other. It was full of laughter and alot of salt water up the nose. It was my favorite thing we did on Maui. I think I found a new sport. The waves weren't that big, but they were still so fun. Sorry there are so many pictures, but I tried to capture what we did.

Hawaii Vacation
We had the most amazing time in Hawaii. I don't get out much, so it was the most amazing and beautiful vacation. The water was so blue and so clear. We got to Hawaii on Saturday afternoon and we were so exhausted beacause of the time change. We all were in bed by 7:30 p.m. The only bad thing is at 4:00 a.m. we were ready to go. Sunday was filled with our first day at the beach. We tried some snorkeling, which was pretty cool. Of course I tried the waves and lost horribly. Jeff and the rest of our group thought is was pretty funny. We took the evening pretty easy and went to bed early. Monday we decided to give surf lessons a try. (these pictures will come later) It was one of the funnest things I have ever done. Surfing for two hours was full of laughter and and alot of crashing. Again took the evening pretty easy with some games and bedtime. We were all so exhausted from surfing. Tuesday we took a boat out to a little island call Molokini. It was rough waters, but the snorkeling was pretty cool. It was a little eerie being in the middle of the ocean. We all were a little sick by the time we got back to the car. Wednesday we spent the day at the beach. There was a high wave warning and also a high jelly fish warning. We still had a great time in the water. That night we attended a Luau. The food was okay, but I don't think i could eat it again. The entertainment was so amazing. It was alot of fun. Thursday was our ten year anniversary. We started out with a helicopter tour of the island. I did okay for the first 45 minutes, but the last 15 were a little bumpy. I thought I was going to lose it. We then went and did a zipline, which was so fun. We then went to dinner at Tommy Bahamas. It was good food and great company. Jeff then took me to the beach and gave me the most amazing gift. He gave me a beautiful ring. It is my past, present, future ring. I couldn't believe he did that for me. I was so surprised. He is by far the greatest husband ever. It was the most amazing anniversary ever. Friday we spent the day at the beach and again tried the waves and lost horribly. I finally learned to go under them. It olny took being flipped and thrown to the sand. It was a blast. We had the best pizza at BJ's pizza. It was good stuff. We then got a massage over looking the beach. It was very peaceful. We played games and started to get thing gathered up. Saturday finally came and it was time to go home. I missed my kids so bad, but didn't want to leave this beautiful Island. We had some time to kill so we went to the aquarium. It was filled with some pretty cool things. We flew all night, which really was horrible. Jeff and I are still trying to get back into things. IT is a trip I will never forget. Thanks babe for the best anniversary and for sticjing with me for ten years. I looke forward to forever more.
