There was this huge hand in the middle of Time square. I love my sis!
Outside of the Lion King.
A sweet fountain in Central Park.
The Shake Shack. So good.
Middle of Time Square.
It was a little chilly the first night there. Lesli and I wore our beenies.
This was the paper that piled up all over the streets.
Statue of Liberty.
That is our limo behind us.
I was able to go to New York for 5 days with my Mom and my sisters. It was a much needed break and the greatest time ever. Megan and Joe were very generous to let us all crash on their floor. Poor Joe, I don't think he knew what hit him. Meg met all of us at the airport Thursday night. She is the greatest talker ever. We were able to get from the airport to her apartment in a white stretch limo. It was so fun and our driver was so awesome. We shopped on canal street and bought purses, t-shirts, scarves ( my mom bought 20) and jewelry. I love how Meg is able to talk them down to great prices. It is so funny to listen to her argue with them. We spent time on Time Square and even saw the naked cowboy. If you don't know who that is, it is a nasty long haired blonde man that wears tighty whities, cowboy boots, and a cowboy hat. He plays his guitar and he is yucky. I have pictures but I thought it was a little unappropriate to put them on here. We went to the broadway show Lion King and it was amazing. We shopped and walked and then shopped some more and then Meg made us walk some more. I thought Shay was going to kill her. I loved watching Shay's eyes as she got on the subway. We found this awesome little street fair, shopped at American girl and saw rockafeller center, which I thought was a lot bigger than it is. We ate so much yummy food, I swear I came back 5 pounds heavier. We ate at Carmines, grays papaya, and the yummiest burger place called shake shack. We had Mongolia cupcakes which are always my favorite. We saw the statue of liberty and ended up in the middle of the New York Yankees World series parade. It was nuts. People were throwing paper off the top of buildings. The streets were covered in paper. My Mom is the greatest. She goes above and beyond what she is supposed to. The time went way to fast and it was sad to go. I spent five days with best friends, my sisters ( shay is my sister) and my mom. I missed my kids and my husband. If wasn't for Jeff and his mom, I never would have been able to go. He is the greates husband ever. Thanks Meg of being the greates tour guide ever.

UEA in Idaho!
Luke and I played in the leaves for a minute.
Th sweet halloween party. My parents are the greatest
Grandma and Caden pushin pumpkins.
Andrew taking the kids for a ride around the yard.
I hadn't been home in forever and was really needing a break. So we packed us up and headed to the burg. Since Andrew was a little boy, he has been helping Grandpa rake up his leaves in his yard. Now if any of you know my parents house, they have huge trees. The leaves are outrageous that fall. Andrew is old enough to drive the lawn mower himself and he loved it. I think Andrew and my Dad were out there all day. They even let the little girls help.
Saturday we decided to go to Bear world. The weather was beautiful and it was the last weekend it was open, so we got a good deal. The bear cubs were so active and cute. We saw a huge Moose and fed some little goats. They then had a little amusement park that we rode all the rides. Even Luke rode the train. That night we had the greatest Halloween party/birthday party. My parents are so amazing. They always have the funnest things for the kids to do. Grandpa had them bobbing for apples, pushing pumpkins with their noses, and eating cookies hung from the ceiling with not hands. Of course there was a prize after every activity. They came out with a ton of stuff. I love my parents and the things they do for my kids.
Sunday we took it easy and enjoyed. I decided to go listen to my Dad with my mom. He is the Steak President on campus and had to speak at a ward conference. I forget how amazing him and my mom are. They have a way of touching so many lifes. It was a great weekend. I love being home.

Morgan's ear piercing!
She was so excited that night!
The final product.
One, two three. Thankfully they did it at the same time.
Morgan's birthday is next Monday and she wanted her ears pierced. I couldn't believe it when her dad actually caved. Poor Lauren had to wait until she was 5. We took her to the mall and let her pick out the earrings she wanted and she was so brave. She only had a look of ouch for a split second. She was so proud and so out of control the rest of the night. I can't believe she is going to be 4.

My little man Luke!
We had just got him out of the bath and this is what his hair does. He looks like an old man!
I love the double chin.
He loves his bath time. He screams when I take him out.
I have a hard time putting into words how much I love this little man. He is now 3 months old and doing so well. We had a checkup a few weeks ago. He is now 9 pounds and 22 inches long. His Dr. told us, that by his year checkup, he should be caught up. He is such a good baby. He is full of smiles, and they are smiles that melt my heart (even when it is 3 in the morning!) He is already a mammas boy. I am not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing, but I love it. Knowing he is my last baby makes me cherish every moment I have this little guy. Oh, how I love him.

Welcome Home Finally!
We were finally able to bring our little boy home. Luke was able to come home last Sunday. I know I am a little behind, but I forgot how much time a little newborn takes up. Jeff and I were surprised last Saturday, when they told us that he was going to be able to be discharged in the morning. I was excited but so nervous. He was off his oxygen, but what if he had a hard time breathing. Sunday morning Jeff and I went to the hospital and waited for the doctor to give us the thumbs up. Once we had that, they finally took off all the wires and we were able to dress him to come home. When I put his little pants on they fell off as soon as I picked him up. He is still so small. He was so little in his carseat. We didn't tell anyone he was coming home just in case. I had had my hopes dashed a few too many times. The kids were so exctied when we got home. They finally had their baby brother home. We are a little sleep deprived, but doing great. It is hard to keep the visitors to a limit, but for the safety of the little guy we have to. We are home bound for about a month, but that is okay. He is growing strong and big everyday. I haven't uploaded the new photos, so that will be another entry. Thank you so much for eveyones love and prayers. I am so humbled with everyones help. We are truley blessed and loved. Pictures are too come!

Happy Father's Day!
I know I am a little late, but I want those special men in my life to know how much I love them. We spent poor Jeff's Father's day in the hospital. I can't even begin to tell you how great my main man is. He is the greatest dad. He is so patient and loving. He has been my rock through this whole crazy time. He has been so understanding as I have gone to the hospital to feed Luke. I know he wants to be with his son, but lets me go. I love this man more than I will ever be able to tell him.
As far as Luke goes, he is a fighter. He is back up to his birth weight which is great. He is eating for me about 5 minutes and then he is exhausted. This is one of the hardest things I have had to do. I just want my baby home. I appreciate everyones love, support and prayers. They are felt daily. Jeff with all the kids on Father's day!

Luke has arrived!
We have been a little crazy here at our house. Everything happened so fast. Please bear with me as I try and document for our family all that has happened. On June 11th, I went to my my Dr. Appt. as normal and found out that I had lost 2 weeks in size. A little alarmed, my dr. sent us in for an ultrasound and stress test. SO Jeff and I headed to the hospital. The little guy looked okay, but was measuring a little small. His stress test was okay so they sent us home. I got a call from Dr . the next day telling me that he wanted me to see a pareantologist. That made me a little nervous. So after getting all the girls off to girls camp Monday morning , Jeff and I headed back to the hospital to see the specialist. Come to find out, our little guy was just not growing. He abdomine was measuring very small. They call it IURG. So, she nicely looked at us and told us we needed to get the baby out. He was better out here than inside me. I was crying and worried to death. Jeff and I ran home and got some things together and back to the hospital we went. By 6:30pm they had me all ready to go. I got my spinal and they let Jeff in. By 7:00 pm our little guy was born. He came out screaming.
Jeff went with him while they stitched me up. Luke Jeffrey was here. He weighed in at 4 lbs. 8 oz. and was 15 inches long. They took him down to the nursery where he ended up needed some help breathing. He ended up with a c-pap on and the littlest iv I have ever seen. Jeff came back upstairs and said he was beautiful. Because of the c-sections I was not able to see my baby until 2:00 am. He was a site for my heart. We were not able to hold him and my arms just ached for him. I felt so helpless as my little boy just lay there. By the next day, he was doing great and they even removed the oxygen and took out he Iv. They started his feedings with a tube down his nose. Well that was too stressful for him. They ended up with iv back in and oxygen in his nose. They told us to expect 1 step forward and 2 steps back. He is doing great. I was released today and felt helpless as I left without my baby. It broke my heart. I hate that he is there and I am home. Soon enough. We went for his feeding tonight and they removed his Iv and he is looking great. I love that when I hold him, he totally calms down. His respitory rates go down. He know that we are there. We don't know when he will get to come home, but he is doing great. Please keep him in your prayers. I am so thankful that he is here. Luke Jeffrey Rasmussen

What a week!
We were a little crazy at the Rasmussen house last week, but it was so fun. Andrew has started his baseball season and it is so fun to go and watch. He has games two times a week and practice two times a week. It is fun now that he is playing real baseball games. I love sitting in my chair, with a fountain drink pepsi, sitting next to friends and soaking in the sun. What a life. My parents, Dan and Lesli were able to make it to his Friday game. He was so excited to have them there. I was excited to have them here for the weekend. Morgan had her first dance recital on Saturday, so we spent the day at a dress rehearsal. She was so tired. In between all of that, we had a BBQ and then went to the dance recital. It was the cutest thing ever. She just about made her pregnant Mom cry a couple of times. She was so cute and danced so good. We were so proud of her. After the recital we had a llittle birthday party for my Dad. Played some more games and finally went to bed. I was so exhausted. It had been along week and I was glad to see the end. Sunday was Mother's day. We had a nice breakfast and enjoyed the morning. We went to Sacrament meeting and then said good to my Dad, dan and Lesli. My Mom was headed to ST. George for the week, so we got to keep her for a while longer. Jeff and the kids spoiled me as always. It was a good day. I climbed into bed that night and could not keep my eyes open. I love that summer is coming and the craziness that comes with it. It was such a fun weekend. I am so greatful my parents and Les and Dan were willing to come and support my kids in all their little things. We had a great time. My parents with Morgan the little dancer and Lauren.

Easter and a Kindergarten zoo day!
I decided I better put a few pictures of Easter for the sake of me remembering. We spent Easter in Burley and had a great time. They loved dying Easter Eggs and loved the Easter baskets even more.
Lauren had her kindergarten zoo trip today and really wanted me to go. It ended up being a great day. I was in charge of 5 little kindergartners. They were so fun, but so exhausting. The weather ended being decent and we had a great time. I am exhausted after a long day. My feet are a little swollen, and I am feeling extremely pregnant. Our little guy is doing good. You would think after being pregnant three other times, it would be a piece of cake. Wrong! I have had more worries this pregnancy. This little guy is not a big mover and so I scare myself. It doesn't help that I have a husband who is worried about me and getting this little guy to grow big and strong. I am grateful I have a husband who cares so much. I guess I am feeling lately like life is too short and you never know what is around the corner. I so need to love what I have now and enjoy every little bit of life. 30 weeks. Sorry I posted another one. I have to show my husband that I am growing huge!
